Young people take First Communion on Maundy Thursday

Children and young people in third grade or older are invited to be a part of Augustana’s communion instruction, Sunday, April 7 and 14, 9:15–10:15 a.m. One parent or grandparent is asked to attend each class with their child. Painting of an individual chalice will be Thursday, April 11, 5:30–7 p.m., at Ceramics in the City, and the celebration of First Communion will happen at Maundy Thursday worship April 18 at 7 p.m.
